Key Stage 4
Pupils can follow
one of the options for art at key stage 4
We do alter
endorsements to suite staffing, but at present we have:-

Unendorsed
certificate. This mans pupils can work in any medium 2 or 3
dimensions

Drawing and
painting. Which means all work is two dimensional
60% of the marks
are awarded for course work
40% of the marks
are awarded for the terminal exam
The exam is
completed over a ten hour period. Pupils have the exam questions 6 weeks
before they sit the exam so that they can prepare and research.
We are allocated
two hours per week for key stage four work. Pupils are also required to
keep a sketch book in which preparation work is completed. It is marked
as a part of the G.C.S.E.
