Facilities
The art department
consists of two rooms which are linked by a small corridor. Each has two
sinks and display areas. We have four computers, two scanners and two
printers. We also have a printing press and other various printing
equipment.
There are lots of
areas for display.
The environment is
stimulating and creative. Displays of pupils work are constantly changed
and updated. All work is either stored in pupils individual folders or
in store cupboards within the room.
We have access to
the learning resource centre and a computer suite.
Materials
We keep a range of
materials for a variety of work at key stage three. Pupils learn their
painting skills using powder paint.
At key stage four
we use powder and acrylic paints.
