Clare Bacciochi Educational Foundation
The Clare Bacciochi Education
Foundation was established 26th May 2005. It has been set
up in memory of Clare and has been funded by a donation of
£50,000 from the Bacciochi family who sadly lost their daughter
in the Lockerbie bombing.
The purpose of the Foundation,
which is to be registered as a charity, is to further the
education of pupils attending Kingsbury School.
Financial assistance may be
provided for clothing, instruments and books.
Assistance may also be provided
to enable pupils to go on school trips, outings and theatre
trips which will further enhance and improve their education.
Grants or maintenance allowances
may be awarded to enable them to travel in the UK or abroad in
furtherance of their education.
Applications for assistance from
the fund are invited and will be considered by the five trustees
(Anne Rogerson, Headteacher, John Sedgwick, Assistant
Headteacher, Brian Moss, Chair of Governers, David Lewis, Parent
and Edith Carroll, School Bursar).
In the first instance
applications should be made by letter to the school and
addressed to Edith Carroll.
