Severe Weather
In the event of very severe weather the Local
Authority may decide that schools should be
closed. In this case an announcement will be
made on the two local radio stations below:-
BRMB 96.4 fm
CWR
94.8 fm
Text Messages to warn of School Closures -
A new system allows
parents to get quick,
reliable updates if a school is closed through
bad weather. If a school is shut for a day, a text
message can be sent to parents who sign up for
the free service. A subscription lasts for a
school year.
