School will be closed Tuesday 12th December 2017
After much deliberation we have decided to close the school for a second day on Tuesday 12th December.
Despite clearing some of the snow, we still have significant concerns regarding the site conditions and the ability of School transport to negotiate the driveway and surrounding villages, particularly with the forecast for freezing conditions overnight. It is likely that the driveway and car park will freeze over. We are hopeful that School will be fully open again on Wednesday and I hope you understand our decision so as to keep our students safe.

Celebrating cross country success
Massive congratulations to James Stretton (8TAY) and Toby Wooton (7MSN).
Both boys ran really well on Saturday at the Schools Inter County Cross Country Championships – this included 7 counties including Warwickshire, Staffordshire, Surrey, Cumbria, Cheshire, West Midlands and Shropshire. Toby Wootton came 16th in the year 7 boys race (2nd back for Warwickshire) and James Stretton came 26th in the year 8/9 boys race and was 1st year 8 boy back for Warwickshire. It was so cold and a tough course – James said it was the hardest race he’s ever run as his age group had to run just under 4k which is much further than usual. The next race is 20th January good luck to them both.
