GCSE Media Studies is offered as a separate course. It can be awarded as a single or double award.
Pupil’s study a variety of media texts in different mediums including:-

• Radio
• Press
• Advertising
• ICT
Unit 1 - Investigating the media

Unit 2 Understanding the media
(3 coursework assignments)
It may be possible to gain a Double Award where pupils can complete 2 more units studied over a 2nd year
