Enrichment

As a Sixth Former at Kingsbury School you will be provided with various enrichment opportunities. You will be able to take part in Young Enterprise, Duke of Edinburgh, the Extended Project, work experience, mentoring and volunteer work.

Young Enterprise is a fantastic opportunity to venture in to the world of running your own business. Do you think you can be the next Apprentice for Sir Alan Sugar? If so this will be a thoroughly enjoyable activity for you.

Duke of Edinburgh is a fun, challenging and active experience. If you enjoy working as a team, like planning expeditions, going on hikes and camping as well as taking part in volunteer work and sporting events then you will thoroughly enjoy Duke of Edinburgh! The AQA Extended Project offers learners the opportunity to identify, design, plan and complete an individual project. The project will be on a topic of your choice and can be presented in a format you choose. You will have support from a teacher but the project will be driven and completed by you.

All Sixth Formers will be expected to undertake voluntary work during their two years with us. As a member of Kingsbury School Sixth Form you are also a part of North Warwickshire & Hinckley College, therefore you also have access to all of their facilities, such as the gym. Job opportunities are available in school and will be posted on the Sixth Form notice board.
