Helen Pickering – Chair Of Governors
Helen joined the governing body at Kingsbury School as a parent governor in 2018 and was appointed as Chair in January 2020.
Helen has many years of experience in education since qualifying as a secondary school teacher in 2002. She has since worked as an Education Consultant specialising in GCSE and A level English language and literature, a Principal Examiner, Lead Assessment Writer and Trainer for a leading exam board, and now consults for various organisations including PiXL, GCSE Pod and the ETF and is a qualified Chartered Education Assessor (CIEA).
Helen brings to Kingsbury School a passion for the importance of learning and teaching, a commitment to exceptional quality of education and a drive to support and challenge the school leadership team to maximise the learning and educational experiences of all Kingsbury children and young people.
