Kingsbury has a strong academic emphasis and public examination results at Key Stage 4 are consistently good. There is real achievement in a wide range of activities.  Our lessons are characterised by a range of teaching and learning strategies, delivered by qualified subject experts.  Increasingly, learning takes place using digital resources, helping to maintain interest and enthusiasm.

A wide range of extra curricular activities are on offer for pupils during and after school as we believe a good education involves young people building life experiences.  Enrichment clubs that cover a range of activities run every Wednesday afternoon (3pm-4pm).

We are committed to reviewing our curriculum structure on a annual basis to ensure that our students study suitable courses and do so in an active and engaging manner.  All of our students begin to define their subject pathways in Year 9 in preparation for the onset of GCSE qualifications in Year 10.  In Mathematics, many of our students begin to study GCSE courses in Year 9.

You can find out more about the School curriculum by reading our Curriculum Policy, which can be found in the School Policies section of this website.
