Kingsbury School New Bus Service

Update on Proposed New Bus Service

We currently have 40 requests to use the proposed school bus from Kingsbury School to Tamworth. This is not yet a viable number for the proposed costs. Consequently, we are reviewing our options but will not be able to launch the service for September. We will re-advertise the service again in September with a view to making the service viable. For those parents who have already submitted an interest, we will keep your name on file.

Raising Boys’ Aspirations and Achievement Workshop

Tuesday 7th May 6:00pm-7:00pm, please continue reading for further details

Further to our newsletter in January, we are holding a workshop for parents on Tuesday 7th May 6:00-7:00pm.  Delivered by Gary Wilson (Educational Consultant), the whole issue of boys’ achievement is explained and why it is a national and international problem.  Gary covers what our school is doing to raise boys’ achievement and what parents can do to help.  All parents are welcome to attend for boys in all year groups.  Reserve your seat by contacting Mrs Helen Jones at jones.h3@welearn365.com or simply turn up on the night!  We will be holding a £50 raffle prize voucher for one lucky winner at the end of the session.
