LEG-ends Fundraising: Amelia Eldred

Below are some images of Amelia taking part in various activities, some as challenges for her fundraising campaign, raising awareness and funds for other amputee children.

Amelia has been attending a Musical Theatre, dance and drama group, since her first prosthesis in 2019.

Amelia works hard at musical theatre and is showing improvements in her dance, acting and singing.

Amelia recently received a medal from a dance competition held at Alton Towers hotel.

She was invited to perform at the Spirit of Tamworth awards where she spoke on stage about her journey and performed a solo in front of more than 300 people.

Other achievements this year include a reverse bungee jump, a Community Games event and appearing on Good Morning Britain to share awareness and discuss her fundraising challenges.

Next up is the Superheroes Series triathlon in August, where Amelia has won a place to take part in the TV filming with a celebrity relay.

The following week Amelia will compete a zip zip wire challenge over a quarry in Wales!

In addition to all of this, Amelia is also working on an accessibility project with the Head of Accessibility for the Merlin Group. This project is currently being developed at Alton Towers based on Amelia’s design and presentation (see attached). More to be revealed next year on this!
